La Shed is the creative home of photographer Sylvaine Poitau. Sylvaine embraces work with a wide-angled lens, in a portfolio including private commissions, corporate and media assignments, advertising, editorial and fashion shoots.

You can see lots of examples of my work on this site, but there's lots more I can show you to give you some more ideas when we talk.

I really enjoy dividing my time between La Shed, my photographic studio in the tranquil Norfolk countryside, the buzz of London and working on location. Whatever the assignment, my approach to photography is the same. I enjoy working hard to form a relationship with every subject to help me to capture the character and personality behind the outward appearance.

You will probably grasp, whilst looking through my portfolio, that a shoot with La Shed is far from a dry technical exercise in capturing a likeness. It is a surprising, invigorating and creative experience that’s as much fun for you as a subject, or a client, as it is for me and my team.
